I was drawn to the notion of collaboration. Even though this article is 4 years old, it is right on how online (and free) software is designed to have multiple parties view, edit, and design. <br \/>\nThis is especially true for learners of all ages and abilities. Google docs is a great examples. As it allows multiple users editing, the users are learning not only the content, but how to use the software as well. My wife has been using google docs for a few years and raves about it. Just this year, we are finally allowed access to google. Typically I have the evening to read. It starts like this... read, fall asleep. Sad, but true. I am mostly through the Utecht with lots of notes to write, and into the Wikify reading  (with notes). I tend to work in spurts. I did love doing the Animoto and Prezi. I have turned a bunch of people onto it already. I got my iPad (the new one!!!) on Wednesday and have not put it down (reading has suffered, but it has been worth it so far!). Because my wife has one I am ahead of everyone. I already have been counseling other teachers and getting them up to speed. I even found an app for my planbook. Planbook touch was (and is) written by a science teacher. He personally responds to questions when you email him. Very cool.
