I keep coming back to its lack of ability to adapt to smart phones and tablets. Because I am trying to move away from a desktop, my choice would be use apps on a smart phone oir tablet. It will be a few years before we are teaching our students on smart phones on tablets in the classroom.  That said, web 2.0 dashboards have a lot to offer as far as flexibility and customization.  I love netvibes for school as it allows for more tabs and portable information.  I adore Igoogle as it is easy to use and also allows me to use my email accounts, twitter and skype accounts all in one.  I have to say for educational purposes I think Igoogle is much easier to teach and to implement.  The students I have worked with adapt to Igoogle much easier, it doesnt seem as &quot;scary&quot; as netvibes which I believe can be overwhelming for some. At first I was impressed. Now, not as much. There are many things I like about it. It is very flexible, allowing you to format to your whim. There is also a lot of widgets. Students would like this as they can add lots of things that interest them. I also like the ability to have multiple email accounts. As a person with 5 email addresses, I find this probably the most useful thing. I also have all 5 emails on my iPhone and iPad. I found Netvibes to be a bit cumbersome as it is web based. If you only have internet and no smart phone or tablet, it would be very useful. Upload the reflections on the software.  As you can see you can embed the image instead of inserting it.
